• See our new entrance gate (shown above) and walkway lined with the names of the forgotten children inscribed on brick markers.
• Walk through the cemetery on a self-guided tour and learn about the history of the second-oldest Jewish cemetery in Massachusetts (1851).
• Be a part of this important rededication service and show your support for the Jewish Cemetery Association of Massachusetts.

Parking is at the Forestdale School, 74 Sylvan Street, Malden.
Shuttle bus will bring you to the cemetery.

Honor A Forgotten Child

Donations in support of our restoration of the Hebrew Charitable Burial Ground are most welcome. Most of the 1,400 interred here are children, many of whom were victims of common childhood diseases that today have largely been eradicated.

Please consider sponsoring a child resting in an unmarked grave with a donation for an inscribed memorial brick. You may choose a name to be inscribed by clicking here to view the list of names, or have us choose a name for you at random. Donations can be made online at our Web site, or you can download a Brick-By-Brick donation form and mail it in.

Your donation of $118 per brick ensures that a child resting in an unmarked grave will be forever memorialized in the walkway of this historic cemetery.
